I have been taking photographs since my high school days. Though years have passed and for some moments prior to the birth of my children, I placed my camera down, it has for many years again been my passion. As all mothers, the intense desire to photograph my children and fill my drawers with their images has been undeniable. But now I also seek more in my images of the many children I have photographed.

When I look at my images of children, I see stillness, a serene peace that embodies every child and every human being at different times throughout every day. I look for these times of silence, intense focus and presence that are so willingly given. Yet again, the delightful smiles of their openness when photographed are worth a thousand words.

I apply this same focus in my attention to Wedding photography, seeking those moments between the smiles, the hesitations, the breathlessness, and the ultimate joy. This gives an expansion to the normal Traditional Photography we love.
